No matter where I go, I always have to have a water bottle with me. To church, the movie theatre, you name it. I always bring my water bottle.
For the last four years I have been a stickler about drinking the correct amount of water during the day. I have used BrüMate, Hydro Flask, or Stanley water bottles consistently for the past five years.
This is Stanley’s The Vitalize Tempo 24 oz bottle in Rose quartz. I have never really been able to say that I love the design and cover of a water bottle until now. I love the color options for this water bottle.
They are much more aesthetically pleasing than most water bottle colors.
Top
I love the lid design in general. This bottle has three separate parts. Only three!
The lid, the body, and the sleeve. And the sleeve is entirely optional. That means there are not three or four separate parts just for the lid, which was one of the most annoying things about pretty much any other water bottle I have tried.
Because there is only one lid part, it takes way less time to clean by hand.
I clean all my water bottles by hand because I like to scrub the straw or spout parts thoroughly. This water bottle is the most functional that I have seen in terms of cleaning and staying clean because it is more simple. I usually dread cleaning my water bottle but after I cleaned it a few times I was so impressed with how uncomplicated it was to scrub because of the simplistic design.
I love that this water bottle has the spout completely closed and covered which means the spout never gets dirty. The only downside to the flip top design that I have discovered so far is that sometimes it will catch or not open as smoothly as I would like which is a minor annoyance.
This water bottle has a finger ring design on the opposite end of the flip top spout. I really thought I would never use it but it is actually so nice. It gives me a way to hold my water bottle when I have other things to carry.
It is a slim metal ring so you could also attach it to a backpack with a carabiner easily.
Noises
The Tempo is noisy. The sound of the air hole making bubbling noises drives my husband crazy. So if I am around him or at church, I have to just sip my water.
However, I love that I can “chug” water. Something I have definitely missed since there isn’t a straw.
The flip top of the bottle also makes a loud clicking noise that’s too loud to use in quiet spaces, unless you take the time to press and release it slowly.
All of the bottle’s flaws or annoyances don’t really bother me too much, except for when I fill it by unscrewing the lid. If you fill it to the max fill line, and then screw on the lid, it spills over. It frustrates me to no end since water gets all over my bottle and sometimes my pants when I put the lid on.
So now when I fill my water bottle four to five times a day, I just leave the top on and run the water from the faucet straight through the mouth spout. Problem fixed!
Body
I love how the Stanley Vitalize Tempo fits in a standard cup holder! It drives me crazy when I can’t fit a water bottle in my car. And even with the sleeve on the bottom, this bottle fits great in a cup holder.
I do miss having a bottle that holds more water, but the functionality of a smaller one is just too good to trade for a bigger size.
Above the silicone sleeve, the metal does dent easily. However, almost all stainless steel water bottles do. At least this one has a sleeve at the base that protects the bottle from dents pretty well.

Overall, the minor annoyances of this water bottle greatly outweigh the pros.
The Vitalize Tempo is very functional for cleaning, carrying around, and everyday use. It is 100% leak proof, easy to clean, lightweight, and keeps my water cold with minimal ice.
Plus, it is the prettiest water bottle I’ve ever owned.
